Speech Language Pathologist in Toccoa, GA

Qualifications and Education:

• Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
• Valid Georgia Educator Certificate
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working in a school setting preferred, particularly with elementary-aged students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in grades K-5
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
• Manage case documentation, including maintaining records in alignment with school and licensure standards
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist in developing communication goals
• Provide support, consultation, and training to school staff regarding communication disorders
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
