Skilled professionals are invited to join a dedicated team supporting students across the eastern and southern areas of a vibrant district for the upcoming school year. This opportunity is available to fully credentialed Speech-Language Pathologists as well as Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF), with district supervision available. Please note, SLPA licensure is not accepted for this assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold (or be eligible for) an SLP license in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows may be considered
- Experience working in school settings, especially with students with Autism (AU) or low cognitive disabilities, is strongly desired
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 35 students
- Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students from diverse backgrounds
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEPs, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and IEP teams to maximize student success
- Provide both direct and consultative services and support to students and school staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and current documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
