School Occupational Therapist - East Aurora, New York

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, supporting elementary-aged students near the East Aurora, NY area for the summer session. This role runs from July 6th to August 14th, offering an engaging schedule of 27.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:15am to 2:15pm. You'll play a vital part in helping young learners develop essential life and academic skills, collaborating with teachers and families to maximize each child's success and independence.

What Youll Bring:

• Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in New York
• Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to adapt interventions to support a diverse elementary caseload
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A passion for supporting childrens growth in a collaborative school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff to promote student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress reports
• Participate in meetings and training sessions as needed
