What We're Looking For

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board for North Carolina.
• NBCOT Certification.
• Educator's License or appropriate school-based credential required by the district.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid North Carolina OT licensure in active status.
• NBCOT Certification required.
• School-based experience. Experience working in K5 and middle school populations preferred.
• Ability to perform student evaluations, develop IEPs, and deliver individual and group interventions.
• Familiarity with district, state, and federal documentation and compliance requirements.
• Educator's License or equivalent school credential required by the district.
• Client requests: two Occupational Therapists needed to cover K5 and middle school splits. Preference given to candidates with experience across elementary and middle school age ranges.
• Preferred: prior experience in public school systems and collaboration with multi-disciplinary school teams.

Assignment Details

• Candidates will provide school-based occupational therapy services across assigned grade spans, K5 and middle school split for both OTs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide occupational therapy services within a school setting to support students' functional, sensory, and motor needs.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and document progress per district and state guidelines.
• Deliver interventions in individual and group formats and integrate strategies into classroom routines.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, school administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.
• Maintain timely, compliant documentation and participate in IEP meetings and school conferences as required.
