We are seeking a passionate Physical Therapist to work in schools near California, MD for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, with caseloads available in both Early Intervention (11-month position) and K-12 settings. You will collaborate with educators and families to help students achieve their physical goals and thrive academically. Your key responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services to students, adapting evidence-based interventions to individual needs Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic programs across early intervention and/or K-12 caseloads Consult with teachers, staff, and families to integrate physical therapy into students' educational plans Document progress clearly and maintain compliance with all district and state regulations Engage proactively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Participate in ongoing professional development Preferred credentials and experience: Active Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license (required) Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Understanding of early intervention and K-12 physical therapy best practices Strong communication and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations Commitment to supporting each child's physical growth and independence This role is full-time, starting August 10th, 2026 and concluding June 17th, 2027, giving you stability throughout the school year.
