In this contract-based role, you'll work with children and adolescents ranging from preschool to high school, traveling between schools to deliver specialized physical therapy services. Your expertise will support diverse learners in overcoming mobility challenges, fostering progress in both academic environments and daily life. Desired Experience & Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist license in the state Previous pediatric or school-based PT experience highly valued Strong clinical skills in assessment, goal development, and therapeutic intervention Ability to adapt strategies across various age groups and developmental needs Excellent communication/interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Self-directed and organized with effective time management for itinerant responsibilities Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct therapy services to students on your caseload in multiple school settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy goals into daily routines Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Offer consultation and recommendations to educational teams to ensure access to learning environments Adapt equipment and modify environments to foster independence and safety Experience a dynamic workday where every interaction empowers students toward greater independence.
