In accordance with the provisions of Article XIV-B of the contract between the Flemington-Raritan Education Association and the Flemington-Raritan Board of Education, the following position is available:

Assistant Principal-12 Month

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Demonstrated proven leadership in curriculum development and instructional strategies.
  • Knowledge or experience supporting school operations, including scheduling, supervision, and day-to-day management of a school building.
  • Experienced in mentoring teachers, building collaborative school cultures, and promoting inclusive learning environments.
  • Knowledgeable in language arts and literacy practices to ensure student achievement.
  • Skilled in data-driven decision making, fostering academic excellence, and supporting STEM initiatives.
  • Knowledgeable in 5-6 mathematics and science instruction.
  • Strong knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
  • Knowledge of Multi-Lingual Learners
  • Familiarity with the Charlotte Danielson Framework for Teaching preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of teaching experience, preferably with Intermediate/Middle School students
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace(google docs,sheets, slides etc) and Canva preferred.

Salary:

Salary range is based on experience and qualifications, with expected salary beginning between $95,000 to $105,000. Salary will be prorated for partial-year assignments.

Benefits:

Eligibility for benefits is based on length of service and full-time employment status. In accordance with the FRAA Collective Bargaining Agreement, full-time staff are eligible for medical, prescription, and dental coverage. Paid time off includes sick, personal, bereavement, and vacation days.
