Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing vital occupational therapy services during a school's extended session. We're seeking a skilled professional to support students with disabilities as they work toward their IEP goals in a collaborative educational environment. This contract opportunity runs from July 6 through July 31. You'll work Monday through Thursday from 8am to 12pm, focusing on helping students gain functional skills that support their independence and participation at school. What you'll do: Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services according to each student's IEP. Use evidence-based interventions to develop fine motor skills, sensory strategies, self-care routines, and classroom participation. Maintain accurate session notes, progress summaries, and service logs as required. Partner closely with special education teachers, service providers, and families to ensure comprehensive support. Adapt activities and therapeutic approaches to meet individual student needs, whether in the school setting or during community-based instruction. Desired background: Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Previous experience delivering OT services in a school setting. Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEPs, and the school-based therapy process. Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Ability to adapt interventions and materials for a variety of learning styles and needs.
