Duties

The Board of Education of LaHarpe Community School District 347 announces the opening of a search for a new Superintendent who will assume responsibilities on July 1, 2026. This opportunity provides a dedicated, long term, career-focused educator the forum for leading a small school system.

LaHarpe CSD 347 is located in western Hancock County, Illinois, approximately 25 miles west of the Macomb. The district consists of one Pre-K-8 school with a total student population of 182, PreK-8.

Qualifications

• Professional Educators License with an Administrative Endorsement for Superintendent
• Experience as a teacher and administrator required
• Experience as a Superintendent is preferred

Salary/Benefits

• Salary - $100,000-$140,000
• 15-20 Vacation Days
• 12 Sick Days
• 4 Bereavement Days
• Board Covered Individual Health, Dental and Life Insurance
