Qualifications:
Must have Secondary Counseling Certification in the State of Iowa
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual or group counseling sessions for students
Build support services to ensure academic achievement for student success
Work with current counselors and building principal on student and family issues that arise
Experience in master schedule development helpful but not required
Experience utilizing electronic scheduling program preferred
Ability to learn and utilize the electronic scheduling program a must
Review school wide data to support implementation of the MTSS system for
social/emotional growth
Collaborate with all district counselors and participate in the PLC process
Preference will be given to the candidate who:
Possesses the best qualifications
Presents the strongest interview
Rate of Compensation:
As per the 2026-27 Teachers Master Contract
