Core Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license for the state (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates welcome
- Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), evaluations, and progress monitoring in a school setting
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a diverse, fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and track individualized therapy plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Provide direct and indirect SLP services to students according to their IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state policies
