ROLE AND PURPOSE:
The Data Analyst & Testing Coordinator role is responsible for monitoring the school's student data systems. The
role focuses on leveraging data to drive the school's mission of providing rigorous instruction and preparation for all
students. This includes providing support to students experiencing difficulties mastering content and performance
standards. The Data Analyst & Testing Coordinator position is dedicated to working directly with teachers to
provide critical data to support improved student outcomes. The role also takes the lead for coordinating all testing
on the campus. The position requires a systems thinking skill set for setting up both proactive and reactive student
supports throughout the year and summer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
Teaching Certificate issued by the Texas Education Agency
Experience:
Minimum three years of classroom teaching experience
Requires 5+ years of experience, preferably in a school district or educational setting

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
I. INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT
Student support (in collaboration with classroom teacher and in small group setting)
Support proper interventions are put in place for identified struggling students
Provide intervention support with effective implementation
Use assessment strategies to assist the continuous development of learners
Establish and maintain a positive and safe learning environment in which students are
encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process
Monitor and communicate progress of identified students
Review and analyze documented student data for needed modification
Assist in the annual development of student and staff schedules to coordinate courses with
student needs
Coordinate the production of progress reports and parent conferences
Monitor report cards to check and intervene on failure rates
Provide reports and monitor all data as requested by campus and district administrators
II. DATABASE MANAGEMENT
Leads the use of student data for the campus
Serve as a super-user/administrator for the school's Data Management Systems
III. ATTENDANCE TRACKING
Serve on the school's Attendance Team to identify and support at-risk students
Oversee the daily attendance process, including training teachers on the attendance taking
process and attendance intervention procedures, and holding teachers accountable to those
processes to ensure on time and accurate entry of attendance data
IV. STAFF COLLABORATION
Lead Math and ELAR teachers to use student-level data to drive instructional improvement
for each student
Provide technical support and training to teachers and administrators on using data platforms
effectively
Provides data and leads analysis during Professional Learning Community (PLC) campus
meetings
V. TESTING ADMINISTRATION
Create and maintain a comprehensive campus testing calendar.
Coordinate the administration of all standardized tests (e.g., STAAR, SAT/ACT, AP,
TELPAS, MAP/Interim assessments)
Order, receive, inventory, secure, and distribute all secure testing materials
Prepare testing rooms and technology (online testing platforms) before test days
- Manage all logistics, including staffing, student scheduling, small-group settings, and make-
up testing sessions
Develop and implement strict procedures for maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of
test materials in accordance with state guidelines
Train all campus personnel on test security, administration procedures, and sign test security
oaths
Investigate and report any potential testing irregularities or cheating to the district coordinator
immediately
Collaborate with Special Education, 504, and EB staff to identify students requiring
accommodations
Ensure all approved designated supports and accommodations are properly implemented
during testing
Inform students and parents of upcoming tests, schedules, and test day requirements
VI. OTHER DUTIES
Applies excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Communicates with principal, teachers, and staff about identified student needs and offers
support as needed
Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Effectively implement the behavior and academic intervention systems established by the
district
Continuously refine and enhance data and intervention systems to ensure optimal
functionality, accuracy, and efficiencysupporting the operational excellence needed to drive
student success
Follow-up on all new student enrollments, re-enrollments and withdrawals to ensure
immediate updates are made to intervention schedules as needed
Maintain highly organized, secure, and up-to-date digital data student records
Deliver clear, actionable reports on student enrollment, behavior, and attendance to inform
strategic decisions
Serve on the school's Attendance Team, identifying at-risk students, and executing
Attendance Intervention Plans as they relate to academic interventions
Act as a liaison between the school, district student data personnel (where applicable), and the

Leads and leverages the collective understandings of the multidisciplinary/MTSS team to
increase student outcomes
