Duties

Waverly Junior High/High School is seeking a dynamic high school guidance counselor willing to serve the Waverly school community in the multiple roles of guidance counseling. Duties would include managing and coordinating student academic and career services, coordinating district and state testing, assisting the principal in maintaining up to date curriculum opportunities for all students including assistance with creating a yearly master schedule.

Qualifications

A valid Illinois Educator License with a Guidance Counselor Endorsement for grades 7-12. Candidates must excel in all forms of communication, organization, and collaborative relationship skills.

Salary/Benefits

Salary will range from $55,000 to $75,000 based on years of experience and education. This is a 10-month permanent position.

Full TRS contribution by the district, health insurance, sick, and personal days.
