Job Title: School Psychologist

Sunbelt is actively seeking a School Psychologist for a local school district for the upcoming 20262027 school year.

Position Summary:

The School Psychologist supports students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success by providing psychological services within a school setting. This role collaborates with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to conduct evaluations, develop intervention strategies, support mental health needs, and ensure compliance with special education regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education services
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Develop recommendations and interventions to support student academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support services to students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success
• Monitor student progress and assist in developing behavioral and academic intervention plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations

Qualifications:

• Masters, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Valid MD School Psychologist endorsement through the state
