In this contract role, youll deliver dedicated psychological services and conduct special education evaluations for a diverse student populationfrom preschoolers to high school seniors. Your skills will guide teams and families in understanding and addressing unique student needs to foster a supportive and inclusive educational environment.

What were looking for:

• Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology
• Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience or strong knowledge of special education evaluation protocols
• Comfort working on-site and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Adaptability to meet evolving student and program needs

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive special education evaluations in accordance with state and federal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for individualized student plans
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and service providers to deliver targeted interventions
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of reports and documentation
• Adjust caseload responsibilities as program needs shift during the school year
• Provide consultation and support to school staff regarding student assessment outcomes
