Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current license as a Physical Therapist (PT), meeting all requirements for practice Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Compassionate, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset Comfortable working independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team Key Responsibilities: Assess and document the physical therapy needs of students on your caseload Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Provide engaging, therapeutic interventions twice per week for assigned students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' educational and physical needs Track progress, adjust interventions, and contribute actively during IEP meetings Adapt strategies as additional students are integrated into services This assignment provides a great balance of consistency and flexibility, ideal for those passionate about supporting youth in a collaborative educational atmosphere.
