Job Description
Leahy Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Reading Interventionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of middle school learners and experience implementing targeted reading interventions for students performing below grade level. The Reading Interventionist will provide direct instructional support to students in small-group and intervention settings while collaborating closely with classroom teachers and support staff to strengthen literacy outcomes across grade levels.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and student-centered learning environment that supports diverse learners academically and socially. Candidates should be comfortable using assessment and progress monitoring data to inform instruction, identify student needs, and adjust interventions accordingly.
