Qualifications:
Valid TN Teacher License
Endorsement in Administration preferred
Successful experience in working with students and families in a school or district level
setting.
Successful experience in an administrative or supervisory role preferred.
Possesses a valid driver's license and has access to dependable transportation.
Job Overview: Engage in the district and school improvement process by supporting the teaching,
learning, and assessment practices through high-quality professional learning and support.
Job Functions:
Work in conjunction with school leaders for curriculum development, implementation, and
supervision.
Responsible for planning and facilitating professional development, mentoring, textbook adoption,
intervention, summer learning, and testing.
Provide Teacher support for data analysis, curriculum support and assessment
development.
Provide support and feedback for instructional practices.
Complete reports and information for the Tennessee Department of Education.
Provide guidance and support for the implementation of instructional initiatives.
Participate in professional learning and growth to expand instructional knowledge and best
practice.
Uses data sources, such as, formative, and summative assessments and communicate the data to the
school community.
Uses data to facilitate change and communicate data driven decisions to all
stakeholders.
Assesses student academic needs for the purpose of meeting established goals and recognizes gaps
in student achievement and implements appropriate educational responses.
Creates a culture of professional learning communities through collaboration to produce
continuous school
improvement and student achievement.
Follows laws set forth by the State/Federal Government and follows policies/procedures set forth
by the Maury County Board of Education; and
Other duties as assigned by the Office of Teaching and Learning or the Assistant Superintendent
of Instruction.
