Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring a Part-Time School Physical Therapist (PT) for a supportive school district in Gurnee, Illinois for the 20262027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a PT seeking a flexible schedule while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

Location: Gurnee, IL
Schedule: 2 days per week
Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week

School Assignment
This position will serve one elementary school and one middle school within the district:

You will be joining a well-established and supportive team environment at each site.

Caseload & Work Environment

Manage a moderate caseload of students with varying needs
Work alongside:

2 Physical Therapists in the district
Special Education supervisors at each school
Full multidisciplinary teams including:

School Social Workers
Speech-Language Pathologists
Psychologists

Strong collaboration and support across all campuses

Student Population

Students with moderate disabilities
Opportunities to make meaningful impacts on student mobility, access, and independence within the school setting

Qualifications

Active Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) License
Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with educational teams
