Doniphan County Special Ed Coop 616 has an opening for a school psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year.

Requirements :

Applicants must have or be eligible for licensure or certification by the Kansas State Department of Education.

REPORTS TO: Director of the Interlocal and Building Principals

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

1. Participates on the Student Improvement Team (SIT) as requested by the district and assists regular education staff in the development and implementation of classroom strategies for student improvement.
2. Facilitates the assessment, scoring, interpreting, staffing, and services for students referred for a comprehensive evaluation.
3. Supervises and conducts comprehensive evaluations.
4. Travels to assigned districts to perform all duties as required.
5. Follows the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and the Kansas State Regulations for Special Education.
6. Conducts Functional Behavioral Assessments as needed and works with IEP team in the development of a positive Behavior Intervention Plan.
