Primary Purpose:
Ensure the efficient operation of the superintendent's office and provide clerical services to the superintendent and board of trustees. Work under general supervision and direct the work of assigned clerical employees. Handle confidential information and frequent contact with all levels of district employees, outside agencies, and the general public.
Qualifications:
Education / Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Have a working knowledge of the school district and its policies.
Be able to work tactfully and efficiently despite pressure situations and frequent interruptions.
Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to adopt emerging technologies.
Have the ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing); interpret policy, procedures, and data; and coordinate district functions.
Demonstrate sound judgment in disseminating information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Promote positive community relations through effective communication with community members.
Experience:
Minimum of five years advanced administrative assistant experience, with extensive contact with people or 30 semester hours of college credit or equivalent training
