Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Arcadia, LA

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing vital support for students during the 2026/2027 school year. This onsite position focuses on serving preschoolers (location TBD) and high school students. Youll enjoy meaningful work in a collaborative environment while traveling between sites to ensure every student receives individualized care.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Louisiana SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in school-based settings highly preferred
• Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of communication disorders in children and adolescents
• Comfortable working with both preschool and high school populations
• Willingness and reliability to travel between multiple educational sites
• Strong documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy and intervention for students at assigned locations
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and student records in compliance with district and state requirements
• Offer guidance and strategies to teachers and families for classroom and home reinforcement
• Monitor and report student progress; adjust interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
