Speech-Language Pathologist in Heath Springs, SC

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary-aged students by supporting communication and language development in a collaborative, schools-based environment. This role offers a contract opportunity for a dedicated speech-language pathologist (SLP-CCC/CF) to provide onsite services across multiple school sites in the area. Working closely with a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students, you will play an integral part in fostering their communication confidence and academic growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF)
• Possess current SC LLR and SC Educator Certificate
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with education teams and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of elementary learners
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and therapy plans
• Conduct assessments and progress evaluations
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with all school and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
