Hiring School Nurses Near Tampa, FL 20262027 Contract

Hillsborough County Public Schools is looking for qualified LPNs and RN-BSNs to provide school-based nursing services for the 20262027 school year. Nurses will work within school health offices and assist with district student support needs.

Responsibilities
Manage student health concerns during school hours
Administer treatments and medications according to care plans
Assist with emergency response and health assessments
Maintain student medical documentation
Provide support at various campuses if needed

Position Overview
Start Date: August 10, 2026
End Date: May 29, 2027
36.5 hours weekly
Schedules vary by school site
Mondays follow early release schedules
Onsite assignment only
Florida nursing license required
RN applicants must possess a BSN
CPR certification required
Minimum of 2 years experience required
District fingerprinting process required
