is seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our special
education team. In this role, you will support students in an elementary school
in developing the functional skills they need to succeed academically,
socially, and independently in the school environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and
assessments Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy goals as
part of students' IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) Provide direct occupational therapy services to students
individually and in small groups Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, physical therapists,
school psychologists, and parents to support student progress Recommend and implement classroom accommodations, modifications, and
adaptive equipment Address areas including fine motor skills, visual-motor integration,
sensory processing, self-regulation, handwriting, self-care skills, and
executive functioning Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and billing records
in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional
development Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an
accredited program Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (or
eligibility) National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
certification preferred Previous experience in a school setting is strongly
preferred Knowledge of IDEA, IEPs, and school-based occupational therapy best
practices Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Passion for working with children and making a meaningful difference
in their lives Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple school sites (if
