Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A Michigan school district is seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist for a part-time opportunity during the 2026-2027 school year. This position will support preschool through 4th grade students through evaluations, consultation, and collaboration with educational teams to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
Position Details
Part-Time (21 hours per week)
Caseload: Preschool through 4th grade
Responsibilities
Conduct special education evaluations and re-evaluations
Provide psychological services to students within the district
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, administrators, and families
Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
Assist in developing appropriate educational recommendations and supports
Maintain compliance with state and federal special education timelines and regulations
Complete evaluation reports and related documentation in a timely manner
Qualifications
Master's Degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology
Approved by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
