Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain license)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience with pediatric and school-aged populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans
  • Experience with IEP development and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students in various grade levels
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on students unique needs

  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to promote student success
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough records and progress notes in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives
