Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Spring Valley, New York

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based services
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language and communication assessments for students with diverse needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, fluency, and social/pragmatic goals
• Track progress, maintain documentation, and prepare thorough reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support students in the classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, engaging as a knowledgeable team member and advocate
• Deliver both direct and consultative therapy services as required
