Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Pediatric and school-based experience is strongly desired
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students
- Monitor and document progress toward student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff
- Educate families and staff on strategies to support communication development
- Maintain accurate and timely records, reporting as required
