Qualifications & Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina Prior experience in school settings or pediatric therapy preferred Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt intervention plans based on individual needs Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere Primary Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) during the ESY program Assess student needs, set goals, and monitor progress regularly Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive support Provide direct and consultative therapy sessions as indicated by student needs Document treatment services and maintain records in compliance with school and legal requirements Support students in developing motor, sensory, and adaptive skills necessary for daily participation in school activities In this rewarding role, your guidance will empower students to progress academically and socially while building essential life skills.
