High School Middle School School Occupational Therapist - Santa Fe, New Mexico

Step into a dynamic school environment and make a positive impact supporting students growth and development through occupational therapy. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity provides 37.5 hours each week working closely with a diverse group of students, primarily at the elementary school level, in a location near Santa Fe, NM. With a manageable caseload of about 30 students, youll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in school-based OT settings highly desirable
• Comfortable serving elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to tailor interventions to individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, focusing mainly on the elementary school population
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Provide input and training to teachers and staff for classroom-based interventions
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
