Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY status
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and development of individualized treatment plans
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage a caseload and document services in accordance with district and legal requirements
  • Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to student-centered practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students referred through the special education process
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy, both in one-on-one and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive learning environments
  • Serve as a resource in supporting students academic and social success through improved communication skills
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Stay current on best practices and participate in professional development relevant to school-based therapy
