Qualifications & Credentials: Master's or PhD in School Psychology Valid Maryland certification or state licensure as a School Psychologist Ability to complete all district-specific credentialing and background checks, including those required by House Bill 486 (background check, fingerprinting, employment history review) Readiness to participate in a prescreen interview to ensure the right fit for the district and the role Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret data to guide student support plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop intervention strategies Support students across various grade levels (caseload and schools assigned TBD) Promote safe, inclusive learning environments through crisis management and preventive programs Provide counseling, consultation, and recommendations for students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs This assignment enables you to be immersed in a collaborative, mission-driven setting where every day brings new opportunities to help students reach their full potential.
