Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- Valid and active Louisiana Department of Education (LA DOE) School Psychologist license
- Previous experience supporting students from PreK through 8th grade
- Strong knowledge of school-based psychological assessments and counseling techniques
- Proven ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment
- Willingness to complete district background check and fingerprinting before the start date
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for PreK-8 students
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention, as needed
- Develop and implement individualized behavior and academic plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to district policies and ethical guidelines
