An exciting opportunity is available for skilled school psychologists looking to make a positive impact in the Southeast Florida Coast region. As a valued mental health professional in this role, you will work on-site across three campuses, supporting students from early childhood through middle school. The position provides a blend of psychological assessment, counseling, and participation in multidisciplinary meetings, all within a collaborative school setting.
Position Details:
- Duration: August 5, 2026 June 1, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, Monday through Friday)
- Campus Assignments: Rotation between Ft. Pierce, Westwood Pre-K, and Northport K8 campuses
- Caseload: Serve diverse student populations, with responsibilities spanning testing, counseling, and meetings
Qualifications:
- Must possess active Florida Psychologist licensure through the Department of Health (DOH)
- Prior experience as a school psychologist supporting Pre-K through grade 8 preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and providing behavioral and academic recommendations
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other school professionals
- Must be able to meet credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance (potentially expedited using existing DOH prints)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and participate in the development of IEPs
- Provide group and individual counseling to support social-emotional wellbeing
- Collaborate closely with school teams to foster a positive learning environment
- Attend team meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary discussions
- Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards of confidentiality
