Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Riverview, FL

Make a meaningful difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive elementary school environment just outside of Riverview, FL. This rewarding, full-time contract opportunity allows you to help children succeed by providing specialized services at either Corr Elementary or Pinecrest Elementary during the 2026-2027 academic year. The assignment begins August 10, 2026 and ends May 28, 2027, giving you the chance to see tangible growth in your students across a full school year.

In this role, youll work on-site at one dedicated school, focusing your expertise on elementary-aged students. Youll be part of a collaborative, student-focused team making a real impact in communication development.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
• Experience working in a school setting, preferably with elementary students
• Comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• CCCs strongly preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will also be considered
• Ability to meet time-sensitive credentialing requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in need
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student success
• Maintain progress notes, documentation, and student records in compliance with district and state standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise for case management
