Qualifications and Skills:
- Current, active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required
- Experience supporting speech-language services within educational settings is a plus
- Ability to manage a caseload of 50-55 students across different age groups
- Capability to travel to multiple school sites as assignments may encompass Hancock Creek, Littleton, Treeline, Colonial, Orange River, River Hall Elementary, and Lehigh Middle School
- Fingerprinting clearance in compliance with Florida school district protocols, with familiarity navigating AHCA Clearinghouse and JLA badge procedures
- Flexibility to adjust hours based on supervision availability and location assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language intervention services to assigned students under the guidance of a supervising SLP
- Prepare and implement therapy activities tailored to student needs and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate session documentation, progress notes, and compliance with district standards
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote communication goals within the classroom
- Participate in staff meetings and required professional development as assigned
