Exciting opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students during a maternity leave assignment. This full-time, onsite contract runs from August 17, 2026 through November 9, 2026. The role is based at the resource level of an elementary school, offering a rewarding chance to provide essential speech and language services within a welcoming educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric caseloads
- Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress monitoring for students
- Strong communication skills with students, faculty, and families
- Ability to collaborate within a team of educational professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions and assessments to elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in alignment with school guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student success
- Participate in team meetings to review caseload and revise intervention strategies as needed
- Provide resources and strategies to support communication skill development in the classroom
