8th Grade West Clermont Middle School Principal
Administrator Level V
223 work day calendar
West Clermont Middle School has recently redesigned its administrative structure in an effort to be even more student-centered and relationship-driven. Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, WCMS will utilize a grade-band principal model with dedicated principals serving 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
This position is for the 8th Grade Principal and will provide leadership and support for approximately 500-600 students and approximately 31 staff within that grade level community. The grade-level structure is designed to strengthen relationships with students, staff, and families while allowing administrators to focus on the unique academic, behavioral, and developmental needs of middle school learners.
The 8th Grade Principal will be supported by an Assistant Principal and Dean of Students who will assist with a variety of administrative and student support responsibilities. In addition, the principal will collaborate closely with the 6th and 7th Grade Principals to provide shared leadership, continuity of services, and a unified middle school experience across the WCMS campus.
This redesigned structure creates an exciting opportunity for educational leaders who value collaboration, student connection, visibility, and the ability to make a meaningful impact within a team-oriented environment.
