Join our team as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in Summerville, SC. Provide evaluations, diagnoses, and therapy for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans and progress documentation. This role supports student success across the 2026-2027 school year in a traditional K12 building-based schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

  • M.S./M.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology.
  • State SLP license or eligibility to obtain state licensure prior to assignment start.
  • Experience or coursework supporting pediatric and school-based practice.
  • Ability to evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, and to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Experience preparing evaluation/progress reports and participating in IEP and case management meetings.
  • Willingness to provide caregiver and staff training and to work collaboratively with other professionals.
  • New graduates or soon-to-be graduates are welcome to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in school-based settings or with K12 student populations.
  • Familiarity with special education processes and IEP development.
  • Mentorship experience or interest in clinical growth opportunities.

Assignment Details

  • Traditional K12 building-based schedule for the 20262027 school year.
  • School-based duties include evaluations, individual and group therapy, IEP and progress reporting, and participation in meetings.
