We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services for students in a K12 educational setting. The SLP will work closely with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development and academic success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and special education teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Utilize evidence-based practices and assistive technology when appropriate
- Promote student engagement, participation, and communication confidence
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license and/or Department of Education certification
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
