Compensation: Based on experience. Salary will be in accordance with HPEA contractual salary guide.

Part time/Full time:Part Time

Position Duration: 10 months

Position Description:The School-Based Occupational Therapist provides evaluation, intervention, consultation, and support services to students whose motor, sensory, adaptive, or functional needs impact their ability to access and participate in the educational environment. Services are designed to support educational performance and promote student independence within the school setting. The candidate should have knowledge of special education processes and IDEA regulations and strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Requirements: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Current, New Jersey Occupational Therapist License Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), Eligibility for New Jersey Department of Education certification for school-based services.
