This on-site role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by working with diverse student populations across multiple school locations in the greater Jacksonville, FL area for the 2026-2027 academic year. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Active Florida Department of Health SLP License (CCC required) At least 1-2 years of prior experience in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of mild to moderate communication disorders in school-aged children Flexibility as an itinerant therapist visiting more than one school site Up-to-date fingerprint clearance through AHCA Clearinghouse (or willingness to complete requirement) Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and related staff Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students ranging from PreK-12th grade, with an estimated caseload of 60 students (subject to confirmation) Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate intervention documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and families to foster student progress and generalization of skills in the classroom setting Travel between assigned schools as needed to support student needs (assignment of campuses to be confirmed) Participate actively in IEP meetings and school-based team discussions This position runs from August 10, 2026 to May 28, 2027, with a schedule of 35 hours per week (7-hour days), aligning with the traditional school calendar.
