A dynamic contract position is available for experienced Speech Language Pathologists (CCC) to provide on-site support for Pre K-12 students. This opportunity starts in August 2026 and runs through the end of May 2027, offering you the chance to work a consistent 35-hour workweek (7-hour days) in a rewarding itinerant role. Assignment includes multiple school locations to be determined within the region, with caseloads estimated at 60 students and ranging from mild to moderate needs. Key Qualifications: Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by Florida Department of Health (SLP-CCC required) Previous experience in a school setting, supporting Pre K-12 populations preferred Ability to manage multiple locations, adapt quickly, and maintain strong communication with school staff and families Up-to-date fingerprint clearance, or eligibility to verify prior prints through the AHCA Clearinghouse (credentialing requirements apply) Strong organizational skills and commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments Role Highlights: Provide direct speech-language therapy and conduct evaluations for diverse student populations Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Offer guidance and support on communication strategies and interventions within school communities Rotate between assigned schools, bringing expertise and continuity of care throughout the academic year This is a chance to immerse yourself in a supportive educational setting, build impactful relationships, and contribute to students' academic and personal growth.
