What You'll Need to Succeed: CCC certification in Speech-Language Pathology Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure School-based SLP experience strongly desired Eligibility to complete (or update) FL school district fingerprinting, with successful status confirmation through the AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to complete new printings if required Flexibility to travel between school sites as needed Strong commitment to supporting diverse student populations What You'll Do: Manage an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students across Pre K-12 levels (final numbers and assignments to be determined based on school needs) Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy on campuses Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with mild/moderate needs Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student communication outcomes Complete relevant documentation and participate in eligibility, planning, and review meetings Adapt services to fit a range of classroom environments This position offers: Consistent, full-time hours35 hours per week (7 hours daily) Set contract datesAugust 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027 The chance to develop your skills while directly impacting young learners in a supportive, team-focused atmosphere If you're equipped with the credentials and the enthusiasm to empower students, we encourage you to apply now and help shape brighter futures through effective communication!
