The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, with staff hours varying by assignment location. Only in-person candidates will be considered for this role. What We're Looking For: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in DE or eligibility for state licensure Experience with school-based OT services, including developing and implementing IEPs Familiarity with occupational therapy practices in home health or healthcare settings is an asset Prior work with high school students and transition-aged young adults (18-22) is preferred Comfort adapting strategies to diverse learning and developmental needs Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Key Responsibilities: Provide targeted occupational therapy interventions for high school and 18-22 student populations Assess and document students' functional skills and progress Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to create supportive learning environments Develop and implement treatment plans consistent with educational goals and OT best practices Attend required orientation and adapt to assigned staff hours and locations If you're driven to help students thrive and want to contribute your OT expertise during an impactful summer contract, we'd love to hear from you!
