As an itinerant clinician, you'll collaborate closely with educational teams across multiple school sites, ensuring students receive the speech and language services they need to succeed academically and socially. Qualifications: Current and active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure (CCC required) Previous experience in school-based settings or working with pediatric populations Comfortable supporting mild to moderate needs across Pre K-12 grade levels Capacity to manage an estimated caseload of approximately 60 students (actual numbers may vary by site) Successful completion of Florida school district fingerprinting or verification through the AHCA Clearinghouse; willingness to complete form and obtain JLA badge as needed Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to travel to multiple school locations as assigned (specific sites to be determined) Responsibilities: Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders for assigned students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Document and report services provided in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals Enjoy the fulfillment of making a real difference, while gaining experience in varied school settings and building professional relationships with educators and families.
