- Competence in managing the business function of a comprehensive K-12 New Jersey school district
- Expertise in personnel administration
- Strong knowledge of the following preferred:
- Budget preparation and administration
- Purchasing/Payroll
- Transportation
- Food Service
- School Plant Operations
- Insurance
- Health Benefits Administration
- Familiarity with all statutes and regulations relevant to the operation of a New Jersey school district
- Qualified Purchasing Agent certification
- New Jersey School Business Administrator certificate required
