School Based Speech Language Pathologist Job

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services for students in a K9 setting. The SLP will support students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders that impact educational performance and social participation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for K9 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, therapy notes, progress reports, and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and team meetings as needed
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Utilize evidence-based practices and assistive technology when appropriate
- Promote communication confidence, participation, and student engagement
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license and/or Department of Education certification
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Employment Details
- Part-time position (approximately 21 hours per week)
- K9 school-based setting
- Caseload of approximately 23 students
