Physical Therapist - School Setting in Harrisburg, PA

This full-time opportunity covers a district-wide caseload, providing essential therapy services within an educational framework. Key Qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in school-based and/or healthcare physical therapy settings.
• Familiarity with K-12 student needs and IEP development.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for teaming with educators, families, and administrators.
• Effective documentation and organizational abilities.
• Adaptability to diverse student populations and multi-site travel within the district.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based therapy services for students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain thorough, compliant records for progress monitoring and state/federal requirements.
• Educate staff and families regarding mobility strategies and classroom modifications.
• Contribute to student evaluations and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
• Travel between district schools (K-12), ensuring consistent support for all assigned students.
